Boomerang and Spear productions are world-class and Indigenous led. We have co-produced major public events including Song Circle (EverNow Festival) and Noongar Wonderland (Perth Festival), plus film projects including Fist of Fury Noongar Daa, the first international feature film dubbed in an Indigenous language of Australia, selected to screen at Sydney Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival.

We offer careful and meticulous consultation on arts and education projects, particularly those intersecting with Noongar language and culture.

We provide rigorous Noongar-English interpretive translation. Boomerang and Spear translated the first complete Shakespearean work performed in one Indigenous language of Australia, the first international feature film dubbed in an Indigenous language of Australia and episodes of the children’s television program Little J and Big Cuz.

We offer tailored professional development workshops for arts organisations, education institutions and industry.
